Our beautiful and spacious 52-acre campus is located at 701 Crest Street in Carrolton, Ohio. We work diligently to meet the needs of a population that strives for an independent life but needs additional support to thrive and grow as they mature.
Although St. John’s Villa, a 501 (c) 3 nonprofit organization, receives federal, state, and local funding, the quality programs provided depend on our community’s help and support. When the staff agrees on a specific needs for the people we serve, we feel obligated to make it happen.
Each of our community members has a plan that fits his or her physical, psychological, social, religious, educational, vocational, and recreational needs. The goal is to help him or her achieve and maintain their highest level of independence possible. The mission of our staff is to provide the residents with lives of dignity, beauty, challenge, and respect.
Individuals who are mentally challenged are sometimes unable to cultivate an autonomous and healthy existence. But with an appropriate environment and guidance, we find that they are extraordinarily gifted and enjoy sharing theirs gift with others. The charitable contributions of our friends and families provide to help them flourish are a tribute of thanks for all who share in our ministry.
